Cyclops

Cyclops is a software dedicated to the members of the community which want to preserve a fund of works. Respectfully to CASPAR terminology, we can call it: "Designated Community". It involves a set of different members having an interest in the access to the fund. This interest is not always directly necessary for preservation. But we assume that every interest can help preservation. Among all the tools that we can consider as necessary for long-term preservation, Cyclops is basically the one to manage the fund archives and their representation.

This software is designed to be customizable in order to comply with the peculiarities of the community domain and with the skills of the members. Even if such a tool is plugged to a generic technical framework like CASPAR one, it does not require the member to be an expert in OAIS and in Knowledge Engineering. This interface allows the community member to contribute to preservation of works with staying in his/her domain of competences.
